Crash Test Dummy Post

My first post on my new blog, which is really my old blog in a not-so-cunning disguise. Yes, it does look very similar, that was intentional;  as I’m asking you to visit a new address, it only seemed fair to stick with the same furniture to make you feel at home. Don’t get used to it, that will change. I have a strange obsession with tweaking WordPress themes, so this time next month it might look radically different. That’s assuming I don’t find the whole dealing with spam/updating thing so overwhelming I turn into blogging’s version of Virginia Woolf (there is a precedent) and head back to the safety of Blogger.

Anyhoo, huge thanks to Arnaud and Alisdair at Purple Cloud (without whom there wouldn’t be a blog at all because of bizarre shenanigans when I set up my account), and Liam, Rusty and Billy, without whom there wouldn’t be many comments – especially Liam, I know it was really, really stupid-o-clock, you were a star!

That’s it really, I only posted this to test it all out, hence the title.

I appreciate you dropping by,

Looks OK, but time will tell.

You'll get used to it, change can be a good thing! It will still be the same endless stream of whatever it is I blog about.

I think it's quite impressive that you've got your wordpress theme to look pretty much identical to your blogger layout; well done. Thanks for the mention :-)

No problem :-) The theme was really easy to replicate, it's so basic. I had to remove more than I added from the one I started with.

They say less is more, so that has to be a good thing. I think this incarnation is actually a slight improvement. :-)

A slight improvement in what way?

Oh, I've just customised my 404 page http://cheekyfrog.me.uk/error Thought it seemed more interesting than the standard 'can't find that page' blurb.
