Hi Kate,
I got into blogging because a friend wanted me to read her posts in her blog. When I visited her blog and tried to leave a comment, my comment was being denied until I signed up as a blogger. I didn't post anything in my blog, for I didn't intend to maintain an active blog. I only opened it to be able to leave comments at my friend's blog and at her readers' blogs when I visited them, which I enjoyed doing. After a month, she finally convinced me to start posting. However, I was posting forwarded jokes, poems, and stories I received in my email. I learned from reading some of the blogs I visited that, that was not very ethical, so I had to write my very own.

About the same time, I started writing my first novel. I saw some blog novels published, so I thought be a good thing to try for my novel. I had only my friend for a reader for quite sometime. When people started reading my posts, I was pretty stoked. I thought, "wow", people are actually reading and liking what I'm writing. I got high from their comments and positive feedback. So now, I'm here to stay as long as people enjoy reading what I'm writing. Sure, ultimately, I'd like my novel to be published in print form someday. I'm wishing.

Tasha
